Sanodor wool is 100% natural wool with lanolin on the entire fibre surface. Lanolin is a wax secreted by sebaceous glands, with a role in protecting the wool thread. Our wool contains 0.6-0.8% lanolin.

Through washing, detergents partially or entirely de-grease the fibre and remove the lanolin, eliminating its natural protection. The result is felted, contracted wool. The fiber becomes brittle and is no longer resistant over time.

Instructions:

Please don't wash the duvet. You'll be able to use the duvet as bought.

Periodically air it out when the air humidity is low. Sun rays sanitise the product and promote the elimination of moisture trapped in the wool structure. Wool has the natural property of self-cleaning and self-sanitizing.

Exceptional cases

  • Only in exceptional cases can you do a maximum of 2 washes during the product's entire life.
  • Fill half the bathtub with warm water at a maximum of 30° and dissolve half a glass of shampoo (100ml) for hair.
  • Submerge the duvet and wash it by pressing only. Avoid handling (turning) it when submerged.
  • After washing, remove the plug and let the duvet drain for half an hour without pressing or handling it.
  • After half an hour, press it to remove the excess water. Do not lift or handle the product!
  • Rinse in one or two waters: we repeat the process above without using detergents or fabric softener.
  • Finally, start wrapping the duvet, pressing it after each fold. Try to remove as much water from it as possible. Please leave it to drain wrapped.
  • When you pick it up, there shouldn't be much water coming out of it! It is hung to dry with a basin under it, where the water can drain.
